Allow the final coat of polyurethane or tung oil to dry for at least 24 hours before using the table.

This homeowner had some quality furniture here and, like most people, wanted a fresh look without, hopefully, redoing it all.

With the overall goal to really brighten up our dining room space, i decided to chalk paint the legs of the table, the backs and legs of the chairs with rustoleum chalk paint in the shade linen white, and to sand and stain the table top and chair tops with rustoleum fast dry wood stain in the shade kona.
